May Crowning Mary Queen of Heaven and Earth

Free May Crowning Printables

I am leaving these craft - coloring pages open-ended.  Students may draw or design a crown.  The pictures can be embellished with stars, glitter, sequences, tissue paper flowers etc.  If you email me a sample of your creation, I would be happy to post it here on Faith Filled Freebies.

Here's what I made with my kinders last week.

Each year the whole school celebrates the May Crowning at an All-School Mass.
One girl from each class takes a flower to Mary and the oldest girl places a crown on her head.

To make the experience more meaningful for my young kinders, each child (boys and girls), brings a flower to school and prayerfully places it in a vase near a statute of Mary in our classroom.

I love this song Holy Mary by Mark Friedman and Janet Vogt

The Lyrics are below:

  1. We will do our May Crowning a little later in the month. I thought that I knew every Church song possible, but Holy Mary is a new one to me. Thanks for sharing. Gonna add it to our repertoire!

  4. Elaine,

I hope you and your Pre-Kids find some fun ways to color or decorate them. I just drew these today, so I will be playing with ideas this week too.

  5. Loved the craft...I printed and used for my daughter's AHG / Pathfinder meeting tonight. Attendance was low, but the moms of the girls who participated LOVED the finished project, and the girls had a blast decorating with the tissue.
